LIFEPOWER contains and provides plants with natural forms of potassium (K) and magnesium (Mg) minerals, limited inputs in organic agriculture despite being mostly required after nitrogen. K, the first building block of LIFEPOWER, has metabolic, physiological and biochemical functions vitally impacting crop quantity and quality. It facilitates enzyme activity as well transportation of photosynthesis products and nutritional elements. It increases nitrogen efficacy and protein coverage. It prevents water loss and withering by regulating turgor pressure. It provides earliness. It encourages root growth and development. It renders plants resistant to tilting, cold, diseases and pests. It enables grain plants to ripen early in a full and uniform way. It enhances color, size, flavor and aroma of various fruit types while keeping weight loss during storage and transportation to a minimum, which improves marketing. Mg, the other building block of LIFEPOWER, is a quite valuable organic input in terms of crop quality and shelf life. It is very important for plants photosynthesis since it is present in chlorophyll. It also contributes to sugar, fat and starch formation in plants. Plant development, seed and fruit formation slow when in its deficiency whereas abscission increases.
LIFEPOWER reduces yield losses resulting from deficiency of these two minerals in annual and perennial plants (especially tea, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds and citrus) grown with organic farming practices. It enables plants to take water and nutritional elements effectively and protect them from water/temperature stress by arranging turgor pressure. It facilitates photosynthesis process in vegetables, ornamental and perennial plants. It has a positive impact on nodule size and shape in tuberous-rooted plants. It significantly contributes to root development, leaf formation, color, yield, quality and shelf life of fruit and vegetable crops as well as to vitality and color of greenhouse/ornamental plants.
